Emilio is a geographer and works in Legambiente, the main Italian environmental association. For years, he has been dealing with the circular economy and waste management and is also in charge of the national report (and the regional variations) Comuni Ricicloni. Within the association, Emilio holds the role of president of a local club. He is also a member of the Advisory Boards of two faculties of the University of Milan.
