I am currently a PhD candidate in Environmental Science and Engineering at the University of Aveiro (Portugal), but I also enjoy dedicating some time to waste management issues in Portugal within the national NGO ZERO - Associação Sistema Terrestre Sustentável. I am currently embracing some new exciting challenges after being recognised as Zero Waste Ambassador by ZWE and MiZA, which allowed me to be part of the launch of the first commitments (accompanied by the respective waste management plans) of Portuguese municipalities.
