Marko coordinates the network of Croatian zero waste municipalities (producing analysis and recommendations based on the zero waste model, evaluating results, conducting trainings, organizing knowledge exchange between municipalities, etc.). He is a member of the Advisory boards in some municipalities and the Circular Economy Committee established by the Ministry of Environment, in addition to being active in different task forces within Zero Waste Europe, BFFP Europe and the European Environmental Bureau.
