Paulo is currently working as a senior collaborator in the waste area (Zero Waste Cities project), as well as in agriculture, forest and nature conservation. He is also a member of the Board of ZERO - Associação Sistema Terrestre Sustentável, having in the past conceived and coordinated several projects related to nature conservation and urban waste, including projects with the support of the European Union LIFE program and EEA Grants. Between 1997 and 2012, Paulo worked on graphic design and implemented an ecotourism project related to dinosaur footprints in the Sierra de Aire (near Fátima). He holds a degree in Documentary Cinema from the Instituto Politécnico de Tomar and has been an environmental activist for over 30 years, having also participated in many environmental training courses over the years.
